Exscape Designs, a leading landscaping firm working in Cuyahoga, Lake and Geauga County on custom design/build projects announced that they have won first place in the 2014 Upstart Awards given by the Weatherhead School of Business as part of the Weatherhead 100 award program. This prestigious award highlights the efforts that Exscape Designs has put forth to build a landscaping company that works on custom landscaping plans.
“Being selected as the winner of the 2014 Upstart Awards by the Weatherhead School is nothing short of an honor,” said Bill Dysert, Founder of Exscape Designs. “Knowing that our hard work has been recognized by such a prestigious body is gratifying and points to the success of our entire team.”
Companies recognized by the Weatherhead School of Business at Case Western Reserve University for the Weatherhead 100 were evaluated based on their sales and sales growth over a period of time. Competing in the division were other organizations, all with fifteen employees or less, and sales of less than one million dollars during 2013. Figures submitted to the Upstart Award Committee were evaluated based on company strategy, sales growth and overall expansion within their field.
“This award simply wouldn’t be possible without the hard work of our team as a whole,” said Dysert. “It is clear that our focus on growing the business, while working individually with each client is fulfilling a needed level of service.”
